CENTRAL FORCE - HYDROGEN ATOM ORBITALS
Particle subject to a central force, as in the case of the hydrogen atom in which the electron is attracted to the proton. Given that the mass of the proton is much larger than the mass of the electron, it can be assumed that the proton is stationary. On this page we show the orbitals for the different values of the three quantum numbers n, l, m. Inside the notebook are the solutions of Schrödinger equation.
In the last column it is possible to download the orbital files in three-dimensional format, these files are in * .STL format and can also be opened with free online software, for example using the PC you can use Online 3D Viewer, from Android mobile devices it is possible to use the free app Fast STL Viewer.
Open the notebook in Wolfram Cloud The Wolfram Mathematica notebook, besides other things, contains the solutions of the Schrödinger equation for each value of the three quantum numbers n, l, m. It is shown how the orbitals can be identified and they are drawn.
